17 Summer Shoe Picks and a Chance to Win £500 Worth of Shoes

If you've read my latest post you'll know that I've finally taken the brave plunge to say goodbye to my Winter wardrobe, pretend that it's more than 6 degrees outside and start dressing hella cute for Spring and Summer (if it ever actually arrives). This transition also means giving my boots, who are literally screaming out for mercy and a re-heel, a well deserved break. You served me well this Winter gals. There's just something about shoes that give me all the warm feelings inside and I'm such a firm believer that a nice shoe can take an semi-average outfit to a solid 12/10. I'm so blooming excited to bring more pointed toes and floral prints in to my life this Summer so I  scouted out some of the beauties that I would gladly accept in to my collection with very wide open arms. (And will be telling you how you could potentially get £500 to add to yours too!).

I included a wide range of 'types' of shoes because I'm planning on having a Summer so fun and jam-packed full of cool activities that your gal is going to need to alternate between heels, plimsolls, pointy flats and flip flops in the space of one day. Or you know, I'll just watch Netflix in my bed cuddling my fave pair of heels if that doesn't work out.

I have visions of myself wearing 1, 13, 15 and 17 to dinner on the beach on holiday or to a fancy garden party with canapés (so someone please throw one and invite me, thanks) and can't blooming wait to wear all the cute plimsolls on road trips to get ice cream. Again, as per, ASOS are killing me with their pointed toe flats and I seriously recommend you click on 6 and 8 to see them in all their glory, thank me later but, no lie, 6 are metallic rose gold, I die. I'm also seriously obsessing over number 7 as I've not worn tie up the leg shoes since I did ballet and I just know they would look so cute on holiday with a pair of denim shorts.

Although I searched through lots of different stores to find my picks, I kept finding myself coming back to Aldo, especially when looking to include some more beaut heels. I'm pretty much obsessed with every shoe on their website at the moment and I love that they tend to do the same style in a range of different colours. There were also quite a few reductions when I was having a look and lets be honest, the only thing better than pretty shoes are pretty shoes in the sale.

Obviously, I would probably have to take out a loan, or at least buy a few lottery tickets, to be able to afford every pair of shoes on this list so I'm definitely going to have a hard time narrowing it down to a few that are actually going to make it past my basket and in to the checkout. However, I was so excited when I found out that Aldo are currently running a competition for one lucky person to win a £500 gift voucher to spend on their shoes and accessories (think of all the pretty heels!!). All you need to do is fill in your contact details HERE to be in with a chance of winning. Everyone who enters will also receive a code to get up to £25 off your next purchase when you spend so much in store. Best of luck to everyone who enters (even though I kind of, really want to win, soz).

What are your faves from this list? What type of shoes would you go for if you won Aldo's £500 competition? Thanks for reading!
