Beauty Sets Christmas Gift Guide 2015

I am super duper excited that it's officially December and only a few weeks until Christmas!! I hope you guys have been enjoying your advent chocolates, or beauty bits and bobs for the lucky ones among you, you should have hopefully opened three by the time this post goes live! If you've read my last post then you'll know that I started my Christmas shopping last week, which is slightly late but I like to do it all in bulk so I'm pretty much finished. One of the most exciting parts of Christmas shopping for me is seeing all the new beauty gift sets that have been released. I love gift sets because you can always save a bit of money by getting a few things together and it usually gives you a chance to try out some new products you've never used before. So I gave myself the hard task of narrowing down 10 of my favourite sets that I, and probably loads of the gals in your lives, would love to receive this Christmas. (Not hinting, I promise).

There was so much buzz among bloggers when this set was released, and I was no exception. I am lusting after this set so so much! If you haven't seen this before, or didn't guess from the name, it's mainly a blush palette with some extra benefit goodies thrown in there too. The set contains Sugarbomb, Rockateur, Dandelion, Hoola and CORALista as well as a mini Watts Up highlighter and They're Real mascara and push up liner. There's a couple of my faves in here but also loads that I'm dying to try so it's definitely something I want to pick up with some of my Christmas money. I also think it's such good value for money because some of these full size products cost nearly as much as the whole set.

This mini Body Shop Christmas decoration is so cute. It contains Mango scented hand cream and lip butter, both of which I've used and loved but in different scents. However, I have had a body butter in Mango and it was literally my favourite smell in the world. I think this would be such a cute little stocking filler or Secret Santa gift.

There are literally no words expect 'be' and 'mine'. This limited edition palette is the stuff dreams are made of and every review I've read about it has had nothing but good things to say. It is on the pricier side but I think it's still really good value considering it contains 20 eyeshadows. I'm starting to think I'm a bit too emotionally invested in this gift guide now (I want it all).

I was first drawn to this Lush gift set when I saw the massive deer on the front of the tin (which sadly isn't in the picture but you should definitely click on the link above to see it in all it's glory). Like can I just take the tin by itself please?? I don't actually mean that because, as cute as it is, I want everything inside too. This set contains a Golden Wonder bath bomb, Snowcake soap, The Magic of Christmas bubble bar, Beautiful shower gel and Karma Kream body lotion. I don't think I've tried any of those products but the descriptions of them all sound delightful and I've heard really good things about Karma Kream. You're probably sick of hearing me say this by now but  (join in if you know the words) it's such good value for money. I just really love gift sets, it's a problem.

This was actually the set that inspired me to write this post because I instantly loved it when I saw it. I always get a Soap and Glory set at Christmas but it's usually a bath/shower-esque one, not make up. However, I'm lusting after this because it contains Archery, my absolute fave brow pencil ever, as well as Supercat eyeliner pen, which I really want to try, Thick and Fast mascara and Smoulder Kohl eyeliner pencil.

Another one of my fave Soap and Glory finds is this set of 5 of their Kohl eyeliners. The set contains pencils in the colours Superblack and Cocoa Bean as well as three Christmas exclusives: Blue My Mind, Grapevine and Aquabat. I just think these are super pretty and would be such a nice addition to any girl's make up collection (aka mine).

Like most girls on the planet, I have been pining for a set of Spectrum brushes for a while now. They have so many amazing reviews and each brush is probably prettier than the make up you're about to put on your face. I'd really love a new set of eyeshadow brushes and this set includes all the blenders, shaders and smudgers a girl could ever need.

Since I included quite a big Lush set, I thought I'd include a slightly cheaper one too. Home for Christmas contains Old Father Time soap, Dream Cream body lotion and Rose Jam shower gel which is one of my faves. I just thought this was such a nice little set with a little bit of everything and I love how festive the box looks too.

I am loving this little Christmas decoration theme appearing in some gift sets this year and this is another from one of my favourite make up brands: Too Faced. This cute little ornament contains a deluxe sized tube of their much talked about Better Than Sex mascara which I'd love to try.

This isn't exactly a beauty set but it wouldn't feel right for me to write a gift guide and not include a few Yankees. I am such a Yankee Candle enthusiast and at one point last year I had just under 30 on the go! However, I'm a firm believer that you can never have too many candles, especially Christmas ones. This set is just one of the many that Yankee Candle are selling this year containing some of their festive scents so there's loads to choose from. My favourites are Christmas Eve and Sparkling Cinnamon.

So that concludes my massive beauty set gift guide, I hope you liked my selections, it was so hard to narrow down! Have you bought or received any of these sets? What are some of your favourite sets that are in stores this Christmas? Thanks for reading!

  1. I think after reading this I'll go out and buy the Soap & Glory eyes box. I'm in need of a new brow pencil and also within the last week two people have recommended I try eyeliner pens instead of my current brush. Thanks for the guide! xx
