Imperial Leather Shower Cream Sweets Collection

It feels like it's been forever since I've posted something beauty related. I've had this post planned for a few weeks but so many lifey-things have been happening recently so all my posts have been predominately lifestyle. However, you'll be glad to know I'm going to shut up about my life for a while and show you these absolute beauties that I managed to pick up in Boots.
Imperial Leather Shower Cream Sweets Collection

I'm never usually that fussy when it comes to shower gels or creams. All I'm usually after is something that smells delicious and lathers well. I've been quite a Soap and Glory loyalist for a while now but when I saw Imperial Leather had released a sweets collection, I knew I had to get my hands on some.

I headed straight to Boots with a clear shopping list in mind (which is rare because I usually find myself wandering aimlessly with a basket, filling it with everything that I don't need and getting sidetracked from what I came in for). They had all four scents from the collection: Fruit Salad, Marsh Mallow, Sherbet Lemon and Spearmint (which to me sounds a bit nippy and scary but maybe I'll give it a go). I decided to only go for two at the moment because I literally have no cupboard space in my bathroom whatsoever. I had a little smell test in the shop and Mouthwatering Fruit Salad and Comforting Marshmallow were my favourite. Also, to make things even better they were only £1 each!! I think that's the least amount of money I've spent in Boots, ever.

I absolutely love both of these scents but the Fruit Salad wins it for me purely because I was obsessed with these sweets when I was younger and they have captured their smell/taste perfectly! After I use the shower creams, I can still smell them hours later and I also always find that my bathroom smells delightful which is such an added bonus. Thankfully, both creams are not too sickly sweet which was something I was worried about.

The shower creams are such a nice consistency and lather up so well which suits me because I love really soap body washes. The bottle says that the creams are suitable for all skin types. My skin isn't the best and some soaps can freak it out a bit but I've had absolutely no problems with either of these.

I am so in love with these and still can't believe how cheap they are because it really doesn't show in the product. I will definitely be picking these up again and will probably get round to trying the other two (although the idea of spearmint soap is still scaring me a bit). An extra added bonus is that I now have a cupboard full of mini marshmallows and packets of Fruit Salads left over from taking photos for this post, life is good.

Have you ever tried any of the sweets collection? If not, what do you think your favourite scent would be? Thanks for reading!

  2. Good to know about the fruit salad one because I had been eyeing it up. I wonder if it will make me hungry all the time though? Or maybe it will be too sweet for me. I guess at £1 I have nothing to lose!

  4. Only a small percentage of the product can be parabens. So, if the sought after ingredient is listed on the label below the parabens, the concentration could not be high enough to provide the desired results.
