Halloween Wish List

There's something about Halloween that I absolutely love but, as I've got older, it's got less and less acceptable for me to dress up and celebrate. That's why, for the past couple of years, I've spent the last few days of October sporting Halloween themed clothing instead of a costume, it's basically an adult compromise right? So I thought I'd show you my wish list of cute Halloween things I've been loving and will hopefully buy in time for the scariest day of the year. (This is my 20th Halloween, when will I stop finding it creepy?).

(Products mentioned from left to right and links provided in titles.)

1. "Witch Please" Sweater Dress, Asos, £35

I've always had an obsession with witches, which probably started from watching Hocus Pocus when I was younger (and wasn't helped by watching American Horror Story Coven last year). I also love a good play on words and how cosy this dress looks. I need it.

2.  Cheeky Spider Halloween Pyjamas, Asos, £20

I love getting seasonal pyjamas, whether that be at Halloween or Christmas, and these spider Pjs are too cute and look so comfy. I also like how the top is long sleeved but the bottoms are still shorts because I only start to wear long pyjama bottoms when it's proper freezing outside.

3.  Cat Collar Dress, Asos, £65

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the cuteness of this dress? It's made from soft touch velvet and has the cutest little white collar (my all time favourite thing in a dress). It also has a little embroidered cat face which has me swooning. I'm not going to lie, I would 100% wear this all year round!

4. "Creeping It Real" Halloween T-Shirt, Asos, £18

As you can see, slogan T-Shirts are dominating this wish list but being the loser that I am, I loved all of these Halloween puns. Asos styled this by tucking it in to a little leather skirt which looked so cool. I could see myself wearing it with my Doc Martins and black lipstick and reverting back to my 15 year old me grunge phase for the night.

5. Mickey Mouse and Pumpkin Print Cropped Sweatshirt, Asos, £28

I love this sweatshirt purely because I love Mickey and all things Disney. I've always wanted to go to Disney Land for Halloween and see all the decorations and Cinderella's castle lit up in Halloween colours.

6. Bardot Spooky Eyes Bodycon Dress, Missguided, £20

Even though I don't have any specific Halloween plans this year and would have no where to wear this to I still think it looks so cool. I think it would be nice for a Halloween party. What are you dressed as? Who knows but at least you look hella cute.

7. "No Rest for the Wicked" Cropped T-Shirt, Missguided, £12

Surprise, surprise. Another slogan T-Shirt. I love the cropped shape of this one from Misguided. I also really like this top because it reminds me of Wicked the musical. Plus my Mum always uses this phrase when she's doing housework, so maybe I should get it for her (sorry Mum).

8. "This is my Halloween Costume" T-Shirt, Missguided, £15

I like this T-Shirt from Missguided, purely because someone had the same idea as me to ditch the costume for Halloween themed clothing. Except this is a slightly more lazy and honest way to do it!

9. Say You Do Too Heels, Asos, £35

Now on to accessories and may I just say I have NEVER lusted over a pair of shoes so much. These little, ankle buckle heels are just crazy. They're suede all over and, in case you didn't notice, have a massive multicoloured pom pom on the front. I definitely wouldn't confine myself to just wearing them at Halloween because they're too cute to be hidden away in a cupboard for the rest of the year!

10. "Nightmare" Pointed Ballet Slippers, Asos, £25

I absolutely love all pointed toe ballet slippers and these are only made even more cool by having "night" on one foot and "mare" on the other. They definitely are really Halloween-esque but I think that, depending on what you wear them with, you could probably get away with wearing them all year round.

11. Velvet Knot Headband, Topshop, £6

I love this headband so much and I think I would wear it all the time if I bought one. Even though it's in Topshop's Halloween section, you could definitely wear it throughout Autumn and Winter with messy curls.

12. Smoke Stick in "Treasure Rocks", Topshop, £6.50

Topshop have brought out these Smoke eyeshadow Sticks in their new AW15 beauty collection and I'm desperate to try them. The one on my wish list is in the colour "Treasure Rocks" which is a sparkly gunmetal colour, perfect for dark, smoky Halloween makeup.

13. Spooky Bat Halloween Socks, Topshop, £3.50

We're finishing on spooky number 13 with a not so spooky product...socks. But in their defence, these fluffy bat socks are so cute and cosy and an easy way to add a little bit of Halloween in to your outfit without going all out and looking like a weirdo.

I hope you enjoyed looking at this extensive wish list. I may have went slightly overboard since Halloween only lasts for 24 hours! Are you planning on wearing a costume or a Halloween themed outfit? What are your fave things on this wishlist? Thanks for reading!
